📜 Terms of Use (ToU)

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the game OGX (Old Galaxy Xperience), available at https://playogx.com and its subdomains.

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By registering and playing OGX, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms of Use. The user acknowledges having read, understood and accepted all rules currently in force in the game.

2. Description of the service

OGX is a browser-based massively multiplayer space strategy game. It offers free features, as well as optional access to premium advantages (for example: Commander Account).

3. Registration and player account

• Each player must create a personal account with a valid email address.
• It is forbidden to create or use multiple accounts on the same universe without explicit authorization (multi-accounting).
• The player is responsible for keeping their password confidential.
• OGX reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of cheating, harmful behavior, or violation of the rules.

4. Code of conduct

Respect between players is essential. It is forbidden to:

• Use insulting, racist, homophobic or hateful language.
• Harass another player (messages, abusive repeated attacks, etc.).
• Use scripts, bots or game exploits to gain an unfair advantage.
• Pretend to be a staff member or another player.

5. User-generated content

• The player is solely responsible for the content they create or publish (messages, planet names, alliance names, etc.).
• OGX reserves the right to moderate or delete any content that is contrary to ethics or to the law.
• Content that is pornographic, violent, extremist or otherwise illegal is strictly prohibited.

6. Sanctions

Failure to comply with these Terms of Use or with the game rules may result, depending on the severity, in:

• A warning.
• A temporary suspension of the account.
• A permanent deletion of the account, without refund of any paid services.

7. Game changes

OGX is a game in continuous development. The team reserves the right to:

• Change rules, balance, or features of the game at any time.
• Temporarily or permanently close a universe, without any obligation to refund.
• Add or remove content without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

• OGX cannot be held liable for interruptions, data loss or bugs that may occur.
• The user plays under their own responsibility and acknowledges that the service is provided “as is”.

9. Changes to the Terms of Use

These Terms of Use may be updated at any time. Users will be informed in-game or via the website. Continued use of the game after an update implies acceptance of the new Terms of Use.

10. Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction of the publisher, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
